Silicon keypad is immunity in corrosive environments, in some applications it is preferred to have a rubber keypad for the user interface rather than a membrane switch graphic.
Rubber keypad have multiple construction options. It can be mounted on both Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC). Rubber keypad provide an extremely long lifecycle than general membrane keypad. The material can also offer printing options to enhance the look of your device.
This type of rubber keypad provides sharp tactile feedback and great actuation force from both embossed rubber buttons and metal domes. Rubber keypad sealed on a PCB pad which could be designed exactly how you want it.
