Silicon keypad is immunity in corrosive environments, in some applications it is preferred to have a rubber keypad for the user interface rather than a membrane switch graphic.
Rubber keypad have multiple construction options. It can be mounted on both Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC). Rubber keypad provide an extremely long lifecycle than general membrane keypad. The material can also offer printing options to enhance the look of your device.
This construction of the switching is sealed on a flexible printed circuit with a circuit tail. It is a combination of PCB Silicon Keypad and FPC Membrane Keypad, it provides a thinner construction than general PCB Keypad.
Using such a construction could provide sharp tactile feel while allowing for a lower overall coast than general one.
